The 2021 model Excalibur Safir now feature an inbuilt MOSFET into the trigger board and a rotary hop unit. MOSFETs help protect the trigger contacts from being burnt out when using 7.4v or 11.1v LiPo batteries,
The Sabre has an U-RIG M-LOK handguard for attaching grips, torches, grenade launchers and other items to. The top of the receiver is also railed for attaching sights and peq boxes to. The Sabre comes with flip-up iron sights and the rear one is adjustable. If you pull the enhanced charging handle charging handle you will open the dust cover and lock back the false bolt. This will then allow you to adjust the hop unit. When done adjusting the hop unit you press the bolt release catch on the left side and it will release the false bolt. The stock is adjustable for different sizes and can be removed by undoing a castle knut to let you access the quick change spring system and easily change the spring when required. There is also a sling mounting plate at the rear of the receiver that allows you to easily attach a sling.
You get good range and accuracy from the Sabre as well as good trigger response and rate of fire. Running off a 7.4v Lipo it will give you great performance out on the field. Combined with the short length, it makes a great all-round weapon for all types of play. All the Arthurians have been upgraded internally with a reinforced tappet plate, 15 metal tooth piston and 8mm bearing to give you better performance and the Sabre comes with an SHS hop unit.
